The Air Care Alliance (ACA) is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to spotlight Public Benefit Flying (PBF) as a core theme at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025.
Set to run throughout the entire week of AirVenture, this initiative aims to raise awareness and boost participation in volunteer flying among the general aviation (GA) community. Attendees will discover how GA pilots and aircraft make a difference in disaster response, medical transport, environmental support, and more.
In partnership with EAA, ACA will host a dedicated recruiting tent on the southwest corner the Plaza to connect interested pilots with organizations operating in their local areas. The goal: to recruit at least 200 new pilot volunteers ready to put their wings to work for good. With onsite sign-ups and volunteers ready to share their experiences, it’s easier than ever for pilots to take the first step toward becoming a volunteer aviator. Already a volunteer pilot? We challenge you to introduce a pilot friend and help us meet our goal!
Also featured will be Samaritan’s Purse’s iconic DC-8—making its final appearance at AirVenture—as well as a range of GA aircraft used in various charitable aviation endeavors. Complementing this impressive lineup, visitors can explore an emergency field hospital setup and learn about humanitarian missions from ACA organizations as well as JAARS, Civil Air Patrol, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Daily air show segments, announcer interviews, and engaging forums will reinforce the message that flying can save lives—and anyone with a pilot certificate can be part of the mission. This year’s WomenVenture will also highlight “Rescue Flying,” with panelists sharing their powerful stories.
With the momentum building, ACA and EAA invite all AirVenture attendees to stop by, get inspired, and learn how they too can give back through flight.
