The Air Care Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public service organization supporting the work of volunteer-based charitable organizations whose members fly to help others. ACA is devoted to fostering, enhancing, and promoting public benefit flying in the United States and other countries.

ACA was founded in 1990 as a small group of volunteer pilot organizations wishing to work together in mutual support. Through the last three decades, we have grown to accomplish so much more. We've made great strides for the world of charitable aviation, enabling volunteer pilots and organizations throughout the country to carry out their missions most effectively. The work of ACA has protected public benefit flying, promoted the work of volunteer pilots, and has increased access to free air transportation for patients and others in need.

    Into the Future

What does the future look like for Air Care Alliance?

With your help, it will be possible for ACA to continue ensuring that charitable aviation remains a viable option for those who need it most. We’ll do this by:

    • Improving access to charitable aviation services through targeted awareness and education efforts
    • Recruiting more pilots wishing to help and matching them with opportunities to use their skills
    • Funding special projects and common support systems to enhance efficiency of charitable aviation organizations
    • Protecting and improving this vital aviation sector

The accomplishments of the Air Care Alliance are the result of a strong aviation community, willing to join hands to serve those in need. There is still more work to do, but we will continue to serve as the voice of public benefit flying! Thank you for supporting ACA’s vision!
