Air Care 2011 National Conference

We extend our many thanks to our gracious host organization, Operation Angel Planes, for their warm hospitality in bringing us AIR CARE 2011.  The delegates from many Public Benefit Flying Groups enjoyed wonderful presentations, a delightful tour of Newport, delicious meals, and a great conference.

Angel Taveras, the Mayor of Providence, and Rhode Island Senator Sheldon Whitehouse graciously took time from their busy schedules to welcome us to Rhode Island and congratulate all the groups and the volunteers for their work helping others and providing community service with general aviation aircraft.

Thank you to our hosts from Angel Planes, all the delegates, their groups, and the presenters for making Air Care 2011 so memorable and valuable!

The following schedule is being retained here in the archives so site visitors can see what they missed or remember what they enjoyed.

Air Care 2011

WELCOME

We are planning quite the conference here in the ‘biggest little’ state.

We provide basic information, schedule, and registration formsbelow.  We will be providing more details so please check back for the final schedule including presenters.

The registration form is designed for ease of printing it, filling it out, and mailing it to us with a check with your preferences.  Please alsocall the hotel directly to reserve any/all rooms in your behalf.

HOTEL: The deadline for a guarantee of the room and the conference price is EXTENDED THROUGH TUESDAY APRIL 5, 2011. Therefore, you should call the Marriott Courtyard Hotel now to ensure that you secure a room at the conference rate of $122 for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Once more, you should call the hotel’s reservation line directly at 401.752.3003 and indicate that you are attending the Air Care Alliance conference at the hotel. This is a direct line to Ms. Helaine Gallagher.  You can also call the hotel’s number as shown on the hotel website below.

Included in this information bulletin if you will, are the ‘computer links’ which will provide you with all of the information that you will need about the Providence conference and our environs, as well as our planned, but still optional, foray into Newport – City by the Sea – the day before the conference.

The important links are as follows:

The hotel and all of the information about where you’re staying is located at:

www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/pvddt-courtyard-providence-downtown/

We’ll say just one thing about your stay: even if you were told that you couldn’t venture out more than a hundred yards from your hotel, you’d still have yourself a fabulous time while visiting with us!

But with your choice of also visiting Newport the day before the conference, with all-day chauffeuring around the city to boot, you’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t join us: especially when you have to keep hearing about what a great conference ‘the biggest little’ had in 2011.

Hell, even the ‘goodie bags’ are something else!

That being said: please also enjoy these links:

Don’t put off registering for the conference and reserving your hotel room(s)!
